That fire from Waldo Lake that started on 8/1/22 from a lightning strike has made some headway towards Crane Prairie and the lake is now under mandatory evacuation.

This is obviously terrible news and we hope fire fighters can keep it from spreading around in this area we all love so much.

Cultus and Little Cultus level 3 and I heard rumor Little Cultus has fire at the lake.

Wickiup, North and South Twin are level 2.

Lava and Little Lava are level 1.
At this time there are no notices for Hosmer, Elk, Sparks, Todd, but it may be smokey.
