From my friend Ed:

I’m volunteering with ODFW on their annual fish sampling tomorrow. They will do the same route Weds, Thurs & Fri as well. We go from Big Bend CG to Cobble Rock CG, starting at 9, done about 4pm. 

People “can” fish, but the fish will be loopy after getting electro-shocked, I’d think. At minimum, a bit of disruption when they’re stunned, netted, measured and released by us upriver from each stop. We typically go ahead of the pontoon asking people to get out of the water until we’re safely past, so there’s no chance of harm to them.
