With Labor Day Weekend coming up I want to put your minds at ease that if you were in Sisters, at the fly shop yesterday or today you would not even know there is a fire near here. We had rain yesterday and this morning and the fire has really laid down.

If you were on the fence to come fishing soon, or over the holiday weekend combined with some camping or a hotel near here, I say don’t miss it.

I was at East Lake again yesterday and it was really good. Metolius was darn good today! Crooked and Lower D this week were solid. Fishing is good and you won’t go home with smokers lung or smell like a campfire.
