Upper Deschutes sites now open 7/29/24
Good news from the USFS this afternoon that the Upper Deschutes boat ramps and access areas we use are back open from the Wickiup Fire. Tenino and Bull Bend and Wyeth are all open. I wish on this cloudy and cool day I was drifting there now.
Middle Deschutes high water update 7/28/24
This afternoon Central Oregon Irrigation District had to shut off a main canal for an emergency repair. The water levels on the Middle Deschutes came up quickly and the river turned brown .
