Crooked River report 10/13/15

They’ve lowered the water for the winter as irrigation season ended last week.
Easy to wade!
Look for riffles and pools and you’ll find the fish.
Good BWO and PMD hatches now, and expected to be even better as we get some cooler and cloudy weather coming up for next week. There are some showers in the forecast too so it could be epic on mayfly hatches!
Zebra Midges along with tiny midge larva patterns are awesome now. Fish them with a black micro mayfly or WD40 nymph.
If you haven’t tried the New Zealand Wool Indicators or a FTB King Snake Sighter you should. With the water low, you need to be more in touch with the drift of your nymphs and these will help!
