Higher water has created much better streamer opportunities so now is the time to load up the 6 weight and get a sculpin or streamer out in the riffles and pools. There is no better time than now to target the bigger browns and rainbows than October after the water comes up.
Stonefly nymphs, October Caddis, Jigs, Copper Johns and Hares Ears are great nymph choices.
Some BWO hatches in select areas, enough to bring fish up to feed on the surface so keep an eye out and be ready.
