Fall River fishing report 11/22/16

Fall River has held up way better this fall than in the last 2 or 3 years when the fish migrated out. They appear to be staying put this year and that is a good thing!

We are having good success on BWO #20’s mostly, but #18’s may be the hatch of the day so carry a good selection. My last couple of trips the Knock Down Dun, Klinkhammer and KD Dun were all the best. I also found a Brown Micro Mayfly to be effective, more so when coated with a powder floatant to give it that “emerging sheen”.

Zebra Midges and Eggs are good flies for the next several weeks too.
