if you are planning to hit Hosmer get there early in the AM, watch the water temperatures and quit if the water temps go above 69. This heat wave is hitting the lower elevation lakes pretty hard and when water temps go 70 and above it is time to stop and give the fish a rest. They don’t do well being released when they are hot.
All that said, Hosmer is still a viable option early in the morning to about noon.
Damsels, Callibaetis, Leeches and Red Chironomids are working well.
