I played hooky from the shop and went to the river with a friend today. What a day. We stuck with big streamers and sink tips and did well on Bull Trout. Saw fish rising to BWO’s, and also saw a few Cinygmula’s and quite a few October Caddis hatching today.
I ran into some guys who were nymphing, (some Euro and some indicator) and they all did well too.

It was 50+ out there today and barely a cloud in the sky. What a gift after all that cold we had last week.
