Out of all the fishing in Central Oregon, the Crooked is pretty much the slowest of the bunch because of all the algae drifting down river.
Our FFP guides have found moving down river farther away from the dam it improves and fish can be caught. We’ve seen this drifting garbage before and it can last a month, so hopefully we will see it end soon.
I’d rate the Crooked as Fair now.
