Metolius River fishing report 7/13/19

it’s been another great week on the Metolius, with better golden stone action, and plenty of PMD and BWO’s on the water too.
PMD’s can be anytime between 11 am and 8 pm, and BWO’s have been late afternoon to about 7 pm.
Caddis have been pretty slow the last 2 weeks. The warmer weather should make for a better evening hatch.
We’ve been seeing a pretty decent to strong Rusty Spinner at dusk.
Nymphing is very strong, with the Euro technique getting it done best!

The early lake run Bull Trout started showing up at this last year. I don’t know what to predict since it’s been so much cooler, but my guess is they won’t be in such a hurry to go up river from the reservoir.
