Hello my friends, I hope you have had some opportunity to get out and fish in the good weather. It is pretty crazy and a lot sad how good the weather has been in Oregon this winter. We need it to dump in February and March and April to make up for what has not … Continue reading Jeff’s fishing report Feb 1, 2026

Good Morning, I am guessing a lot of you have skipped fishing this past week due to the all the freezing fog from the inversion? What an absolute crap weather pattern! I have been watching the forecast and it looks like the fog is going away, but still no rain or snow in the 7 … Continue reading Jeff’s fishing report 1/23/26

I hope you had a good Christmas holiday with the people you love. I know the holidays can be a whirlwind of activity, and certainly this coming week things will slow down a little and desires for fishing and tying flies, or reading fishing books, going to the fly fishing film tour, and pouring over … Continue reading Jeff’s Fishing Report 12/27/2025

A “mostly high water” fishing report 12/19/25

December 19, 2025December 19, 2025flyfishersplace 4 Comments

It is mostly a wash-out throughout the entire Pacific NW with very few fishable rivers. The one that is still fishable for sure is the Fall River, and I am not sure I trust the gauges on the Crooked but the internet says the flow from Bowman Dam remains 100 cfs. What makes me question … Continue reading A “mostly high water” fishing report 12/19/25

It is really special and I am so excited to share this trip with the 7 great people who are … Continue reading Jeff’s Fishing Report 12/6/2025

Leftovers, good football and family time are most likely the program for most of us this weekend, but of course we need to circle through all the places you dream about fishing this coming week and discuss hatches, trends, weather and tactics that will put you ahead of the game when you venture out in … Continue reading Jeff’s fishing report 11/29/25
