From Tumalo to Lake Billy Chinook fishing is good. Pale Evening Duns, Purple Haze, PMD's, Caddis, Rusty Spinners and Float-n-Fool's are great on top. Frenchie, Soft Hackle PT, Hares Ear, Pale Yellow Euro Jig and Micro Mayfly's under the surface. Czech nymphing is the best!

Salmonfly hatch is still on, golden's too. PMD's, March Browns, PED's, Caddis, Purple Haze, Float-n-Fool and Renegades. Czech Style nymphing is great. Euro Nymphs and Soft Hackle Pheasant Tails.

Salmonflies have made it up to Bend and even up towards the Inn of the 7th Mountain area. So from there all the way down to Steelhead Falls and below to the Lake (LBC) in most places you'll find the big bugs. Water is low and clear making for easy access and good fishing and wading conditions. March Browns, BWO's and even a few Pale Evening Duns hatching now. Great nymph fishing with little mayfly nymphs, copper john, pale yellow jig, rainbow warrior and skinny nelsons.

Water is a little high, but fishable. by this time next week it should be much better with water levels coming down as canals turn on for the season. March Browns and BWO's are hatching well.

The water is still pretty high making access tough in most places. My recommendation is to wait for the canals to turn on between 4/10 and 4/20 and things will be much improved.
