I spent some time on the Fall River Monday June 8th and frankly it was better than expected. We fished on the hatchery grounds and caught fish Czech style nymphing on a Pale Yellow Euro Jig and a Mr Peacock. We also worked the shade and found fish rising to PMDs but it had to be good shade or it was a no go on dries.

Fish populations seem way down to me, but we did do pretty well despite that report.
