the Crooked is quite good again with little nymphs dominating the action during the day and dry flies coming on strong in the evening. Water is running a normal 230 cfs and there are plenty of scuds, mayfly nymphs and midges in the drift, with caddis increasing in the evening.
Look for fish in the shade in the late afternoon and when the sun goes off the water in the evening the dry fly action is hot.
