Three Creeks Lake fishing report 6/4/18

It’s remarkable how fast things can happen in the high country. The water temps at Three Creeks are already mid 50’s and the fish are really active.

Damsel Nymphs, Wooly Buggers, FlashBack PT, Chironomids and Midge Adults, Adams and Beetles so far, but I would think Callibaetis are going to begin popping very soon now with that water temp.

Watch the wind. We’ve had some fronts come through the mountains a couple of times in the last 8 or 9 days with heavy high altitude winds. 3 Creeks is 6700 feet so it’s the highest drive to lake we fish.

Boat ramp is open BTW.
