East Lake is good, especially with Chironomids in about 8-10 feet of water. Chromie’s in a #16 and Olive #18 Zebra Midges were our hot flies on Saturday. Black and Red is also a great choice.
Callibaetis are trying to get a foot hold but we haven’t seen any really good hatches so far, but I expect to see strong hatches any day now, and those will go for the duration of summer.
We’ve been getting some decent action fishing ants and beetles along the shorelines, especially in the rocky areas.
