It’s still off color and running high, but we definitely saw some improvements today. Enough to think by the weekend things should be much better.
I had a guide down checking it out today, and a friend fishing there. It was so-so fishing but some fish were caught, including some on salmonfly dries.
We sure are looking forward to the normal flows that will come soon.
A friend of mine and I drove to Maupin yesterday morning hoping it would have cleared up a bit, but it was still blown out and high
We turned around and drove to Trout Creek. There were LOTS of fishermen there and the water looked better, still high, but we didn’t see or touch any fish.

I appreciate the up time date fishing reports. Longing for Crooked river to normalize. But thank goodness for plenty of water for foreseeable future.
