Lower Deschutes fishing report 8/20/15

Steelhead are showing up all the way up in limited numbers to Warm Springs, and there are quite a few in the mack’s area. White River is still pretty blown. That said, people are catching some fish in the muck.
Trout Fishing is pretty darn good around Warm Springs. Caddis Hatches have remained strong, and PMD’s usually show up later in the day. Never forget your Purple Haze down there. Such a good dry fly.
Nymphing is great with a stonefly nymph and caddis pupa. Copper Johns, Hares Ear, PT’s, Serendipity, Prince and 2 Bit Hookers are all great nymphs too.
Some guys are picking up fish on Sculpin patterns.
