Three Creeks Lake fishing report 6/20/18

overall it’s been good fishing, but we’ve had some crazy weather roll through on occasion and that has put the fishing off. Seriously, it snowed there a few days ago.
But warmer weather is in the forecast and after this crazy thunderstorm day is over tonight.

Callibaetis, Midges and small Black Caddis are hatching, plus ants and beetles on the surface.
We’ve been getting fish on the troll too. Trolling Wooly Buggers and Damsel Nymphs in about 6 to 12 feet of water on an intermediate line is really good. We like to run a Callibaetis Nymph or Red Chironomid as a trailer behind the bigger fly. Mini Leeches are also a hot fly.
