Three Creeks Lake fishing report 8/24/18

There are still really good hatches of Callibaetis. Hard to say how much longer that will stay so good at that elevation? But right now the hatches are still impressive most days.

We’ve been having fun dry fly action in the late afternoon and going to dark on Black X Caddis and our Black Butte Callibaetis. Griffiths Gnats, Red Century Drive Midge and Ants have been successful too.
Had a friend do well the other day on Royal Wulff’s! Love that.

Trolling a Wooly Bugger or Damsel Nymph with a Red Chironomid or Callibaetis nymph is always a good bet.
