October 31, 2019flyfishersplace

The report guy is going fishing in Cuba 11/1 to 11/14 so unless the weather gets crazy this report should hold up until he is back. Yesterdays dry fly action was again really impressive after the cold snap earlier in the week. All it took was another warm day to get the hatches rolling well … Continue reading Metolius River fishing report 11/1/19

The report guy is going fishing in Cuba 11/1 to 11/14 so unless the weather gets crazy this report should hold up until he is back. Fall River is awesome. Really. The BWO hatch lately has been so darn good for surface action. Will it be that way everyday? probably not, but the trend is … Continue reading Fall River fishing report 11/1/19

Sorry for the delayed report, the report guy had to go in for emergency surgery and wasn't energetic enough to get his Sh*t together. The FFP guides have been having a lot of good days on the Warm Spring to Trout Creek run. The crew are finding some steelhead and plenty of trout. Travis even … Continue reading Lower Deschutes River fishing report 10/23/19

Sorry for the delayed report, the report guy had to go in for emergency surgery and wasn't energetic enough to get his Sh*t together. Metolius River fishing report 10/23/19

October 23, 2019flyfishersplace

Sorry for the delayed report, the report guy had to go in for emergency surgery and wasn't energetic enough to get his Sh*t together. The Metolius continues to fish well, with BWO's, the end of PMD's for the season (see you next spring ephemerella's), the beginning of Cinygmula (hey, it's cool, you look like a … Continue reading Metolius River fishing report 10/23/19

Fall River fishing report 10/23/19

Sorry for the delayed report, the report guy had to go in for emergency surgery and wasn't energetic enough to get his Sh*t together. The report guy also spent the day at the Fall River monday, and it was excellent. Tons of fish of to a BWO KD Dun (aka the One Wing Wonder!) and … Continue reading Fall River fishing report 10/23/19

Crooked River fishing report 10/2/19

October 2, 2019flyfishersplace

Today the water has dropped to 150 cfs so it is coming down to winter flows as we speak. We are seeing good to very good fishing on dries and nymphs. PMD hatches and increasingly better and better BWO hatches. Also, keep an eye open for Mahogany Duns and Midges to be important. Speaking of … Continue reading Crooked River fishing report 10/2/19

Metolius Fishing Report 10/2/19

This week there are still quite a few #10-12 Green Drakes on the water. Won't last too many more days but its on now.
